Welcome to our new School Counselor, Brittany Perrone!

Brittany joins the CCS community as a School Counselor this fall after completing her Master’s Degree in Counselor Education from Western CT State University. Brittany earned her BS in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of CT and has always been dedicated to supporting those around her. She completed a practicum at East Ridge Middle School in Ridgefield and an internship at New Milford High School before coming to CCS. She approaches counseling with kindness, optimism, and humor, acknowledging students' challenges while building on their strengths.

Brittany will support all students as they develop academically, physically, socially, and emotionally. She will focus on effective collaboration and communication with parents/guardians, teachers, administrators, and support staff in order to create and implement effective 1:1 counseling sessions, lesson plans, programs, events, and individual interventions that best meet the needs of our students.
